The prescription medication PROPULSID® (cisapride) is no longer marketed in the United States, and therefore it is no longer available through retail pharmacies.

The only way doctors can obtain PROPULSID is through a Limited Access Program developed together by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This program was created to ensure that only appropriate patients receive the medication. Currently, Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is handling the administration of the Limited Access Program.

Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has provided a list of disallowed medications and foods that should not be taken with PROPULSID. Be sure to consult with a physician if you have any questions or concerns regarding a medication or food you are taking with PROPULSID. To view the disallowed medications and foods list, please refer to the left navigation.
